THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
- Epilepsy:
- simple partial seizures (focal seizures), complex partial seizures (psychomotor seizures) with or without secondary generalization;
- generalized tonic-clonic seizures (seizures of the grand mal type);
- Treatment of trigeminal neuralgia (idiopathic or from multiple sclerosis);
- Treatment of glossopharyngeal neuralgia;
- Treatment of painful diabetic neuropathy;
- Prevention of convulsions in alcohol withdrawal syndrome;
- Prophylaxis of bipolar disorders in patients who do not respond to lithium therapy;
- Treatment of manic crises.
